Uplifting Words Of Encouragement

Take a few minutes to read this article if you are trying to help someone who is in pain due to the loss of a loved one, break-up, divorce or what ever type of pain.

At times it may feel like there is no need to share encouraging words to someone who is aching. In most cases when youuse some daily words of encouragement as provided by experts that somebody may decide not to absorb a word of what you are sharing.

No matter how strong a person may seem to be, everyone needs some words that can inspire him or her. When sharing such words it is like a farmer planting a seed. It can take weeks for you to see the seeds germinating but through unswerving watering and a bit of sympathy and tolerance the seed does bring forth its fruits.

In the same way when you try to encourage someone, do not just give up at the first try even if you don’t see any positive results at first. Continue to share some words through a letter of encouragement or something close like poems or cards and don’t think twice about it.

It may be that the person who is hurting is still fresh from the ordeal and needs time to digest everything. Exercise some patience and understanding. Do not try and set a time table for the person to get over what ever it is he or she is grieving for – depending on the occurrence or the nature of the grieving person.

I know someone who lost a loved one and spend 24 months crying and mourning – literally. It turned out everything we kept saying to him over the years – in terms of encouragement, helped him to heal eventually. We didn’t know we were making that kind of an impact at the time.

So if you feel like it is not important to keep writing encouragement letters remember that they are helping him or her to live through each day. Make a decision today to keep at it until you know for a fact that the grieving person is over what ever pain and heart ache – this will make you feel valuable and it will cause you to receive goodness from others in due cause.
