Absinthe the Green Fairy or La Fee Verte
Absinthe or La Fee Verte is also one of the most celebrated alcoholic beverage in history. It now occupies a place of pride as the most controversial and famous drink of all times, however, it was first developed as a stomach tonic.

Thujone is present in very small quantity in Absinthe, alcohol and ethanol are the main ingredients. Thujone is not as dangerous as it is made out to be and recent research shows that the danger if any in Absinthe lies in its high alcohol content. Many studies and articles have been written on the subject. It is twice as strong as whisky and vodka and hence drink it in moderation, it is a drink to give pleasure and hence do it carefully.
