The original design was so good that not much has changed over the years since the first one was made. They don’t often need any attention but obviously wheels, tires and brakes should be checked regularly.

I never understood why they are called golf carts because they are used at many other places as local transport vehicles. Being a cheap and flexible vehicle they are often used to move people and equipment around theme parks and other large sites such as factories and utility sites.

Golf carts are great at doing what they do and they go on doing that for years so we should be grateful to the guy who invented them. There are few other vehicles that make such a good used buy and they can be used for a lot of other purposes.
