We’ve all got our own personal super spy- a name who risks it all for their country, consequences be damned. Here’s the spies you’ll call upon to save the day and have a martini with afterwards.

James Bond- could we have not done this list without him? Can always be found with a martini in hand, a beautiful women in the other hand and q’s finest gadgets, 007 always got the job done with style. Everyone will argue for hours over who was the best Bond, but never whether 007 deserves his legendary status. When we think of Spies, the first person we think of isJames Bond, maybe because nobody does it better.

Harrry Palmer -Playing the anti Bond was Micheal Caine. A world apart from Bond, the Palmer films took places in gritty settings, with Palmer himself a mirror image of Bond. Nowhere near as flashy, without Bond’s background, looks and sporting glasses, what Palmer did know what to do was get the job done, which he did in 5 films.

Austin Powers -the 60s number one spy, who was unfroze in the 90s to fight Dr. Evil. Paying homage to the great spies and the films, Powers had Bond gadgets, Palmers glasses and a charm that was his own. Powers would always save the day, but not before giving us all a good laugh along the way. The movies has carved out a following of their own for the shagadelic super spy as well as paying tribute to the other great spy movies.

Jason Bourne. It took alot of money and training to make him the best at what he can do, but the Bourne films begin with him close to death and with amensia. Bond had problems adapting to spying in this new century, but Bourne did, working in the crowds and shadows, but also operating in the open when it was absolutley needed. Hunted by his own agency over the course of three films, Bourne’s training always kept him one step ahead.
