As the years moved forward, the Bissell vacuum company not only produced sweepers, but also full-fledged vacuums, carpet shampooers, upholstery cleaners, steam mops and more. Melville Bissell’s thirst for invention dictated that the entire company puts the effort on development and research. Whatever the case, the efforts paid off.
